Where things stand

• No display ads or ad networks
• No sponsored articles or paid placements
• No free products accepted from grooming brands, retailers or salons
• No payments from anyone to mention, rank or link to a product or business

The site is funded by its owner. We'd like our grooming advice to be judged on whether it's right, not on who paid for it.

If that ever changes

If we ever decide to carry advertising or sponsorship, we will:

• update this page before any advertising appears,
• label ads and sponsored content clearly as such, on the page where they appear, in line with the US Federal Trade Commission's guidance on endorsements and advertising,
• keep advertisers out of editorial decisions, as set out in our editorial policy,
• never accept advertising for products or practices our guides advise against.
